David: Took your advice, bought the Desert Plunge & loving it; been using it regular for 3 + weeks, just the Mrs and I. Gets 2 hours of ozone each night from the manufactures kit and already changed out the filter which was not near as dirty as the one in this video. I changed the filter due to a drop in circulation and the cooler working harder. Screen gets cleaned each day. Point of the comment, this morning noticed some algae spots on the chest walls and the water is not crystal clear. I follow your cleaning protocol to the letter, shower, skimming, peroxide, stabilizer & ozone. Why would spots of algae appear in less than a month? Has this happened to you? I do check, the ozone generator does run ea night.

Has anyone used the 1,000 pump with the 1/4 chiller. I see the recommend 500 to 800 but would like to use the 3/4 adapters. Smaller pumps use 5/8

Have a plunge all in. Have had it less than 3 months and it’s not chilling again for the second time. First fix took over a month just for them to send parts and send someone to repair. Couldn’t get anyone from plunge the phone. Just emailed Plunge support again and I’m dreading this experience. Spent a lot of $ on this - didn’t expect this many issues.

1/4 says 800gph but that does not have 3/4 holes. Any ideas if the the 1,000gph pump will be to much

Hi so we bought the exact same one as you followed the instructions and it doesnt work. We tried plugging it into the wall and into the outside splitter we have. Is there something we are doing wrong? We have bought to and neither one will push out bubbles.

New subscriber here! If this helps to relieve/eliminate my restless leg syndrome, I am all in! I just cannot get away from the Desert Plunge, even though I could maybe get into the IceBox 500 and your DIY chiller cheaper(?). Likely going to have to buy the $weat Tent first though.

The hype is real. I’m addicted. Circulation and recovery. Every day, multiple times per day in the hot summer. It’s also like pressing “reset” on your life if you’re grouchy, angry, etc. Get in 39 degree water, breathe for 2 minutes, get out, and it’s like a new beginning.

The door is too tall - you are letting all the air out every time you open the door. The water pools on the floor. Why isn't it sloped? The ceiling is sloped the wrong way. The hot point is always at the high point so you are directing the hot air away from the user. If you want a proper sauna design, hit us up.

Anyone else having issues with the filter clogging up or greatly reducing the flow rate in a short amount of time, like within a week before having to clean it out? Is this normal/expected? How are you all getting longer interval between having to clean out your filter? I ran this setup with the ice barrel 300 and a 1/4 HP Active Aqua chiller.

Anyone else having issues with the filter clogging up ridiculously fast? I’m talking like in about a week it’s clogged up and have to remove and clean the metal filter tube. Impedes the pump flow rate majorly.
